MOON- Review For DS:

Moon is a technically gifted game and revolves around a plot that requires you to investigate a hatch discovered on the lunar surface. You play Major Kane, the one who investigates the alien structure by performing informational exchanges on the radio, which his only source of getting any kind of information on the mission.

You start feeling the game as you progress further into it and experience strange geometric designs, odd machines, various wall patterns, and neon lights in the corridors of the hatch. You will have to fight your way through floating drones, spidery robots, and giant automatons, to achieve your objective. Tackling these enemies would constantly challenge your reflexes.

Moon has continued the Nintendo trend of employing the stylus for aiming, D-pad for moving and L button for shooting. You can also easily switch between the weapons by pausing the game and using the menu to choose between the weaponry. The game also has a great audio feature that makes the experience of being in a space mission seem more realistic.

The game has a good amount of adventure duration that may lasts for around 5-6 hours. However, this doesn’t deny the fact that the game lags in areas of novelty. The enemies in the game can be defeated in the same pattern and the areas explored are quite similar except for the color of the walls.

The lags don’t affect the gameplay in any way. The game is quite successful in keeping the interest of the player and has you wondering, “What’s Next?”. Overall, the game is a good buy for all the people in search of a space adventure.
