Inkjet Ink - good for all
Inkjet ink is one of the different types of printer inks. The different types of printers use different types of inks and ink jet ink is one of them. The Ink jet printers use the ink jet ink. Ink jet printers are the most common types of printers used in the offices and the houses. The ink jet printers are the preferred printers as they provide crisp images and excellent quality of black letters at very reasonable rates.
The laser printers use the toners that further use the photographic process to deposit the ink on to the paper. On the other hand, the ink jet printers follow the non-contacting modality to complete the printing task. With the help of this modality, the ink jet printers are able to print on the uneven surfaces as well.
There are basically two types of printing technologies used by the ink jet printers. Both the technologies use the ink jet inks in their cartridges to achieve the goal of printing. The two technologies of ink jet printers are the continuous and drop-on-demand. The continuous printing technology uses a high pressure pumping mechanism. This pumping mechanism creates a continuous flow of the ink jet ink drops.
The continuous flow of the ink drops is achieved by drawing the ink jet ink from a reservoir of the liquid ink and directing the ink jet ink through a microscopic nozzle. Drop-on-demand ink jet printing is divided into two types, that is, bubble and piezo. Both types use inkjet inks to print.
